For this recent solar installation project in the charming village of Brooke, Norwich, we were asked to maximise the property's energy-generation potential and long-term gains.

The property offered two upper roof sections and a lower, part-pitched roof on a single-story extension - a clear opportunity for a high-volume solar panel array.

This customer also wanted complete control over the green energy they produce so that they could manage how they use their power day and night.

Our Solution

After understanding their priorities, we created a bespoke solar design, with battery storage, that maximised the space across the 4 roofs to get as many solar panels as possible included, for maximum energy generation. We also included Bird Mesh to protect their investment from the outset and maintain peak efficiency for years to come.

The Impact

The PV installation is estimated to generate 7,793Wh of energy annually, helping to greatly reduce dependence on grid power. 

Financially, the system is expected to pay back within 6 years and 9 months with an estimated saving of £40,705 over 25 years.

Environmental Contribution: The system offsets roughly 2 tonnes of CO2 emissions annually. Over the lifetime of the system, that's equivalent to planting 379 trees or avoiding 58,988km in car journeys!
