The Challenge
A recent client in Great Cornard approached us with a common challenge: they wanted to reduce their energy bills and become more energy independent, but their detached bungalow had an awkwardly shaped roof that they worried was going to limit their opportunity.
But we could see the opportunity for them and set about building a truly bespoke design that used the latest high output Aiko modules to utilise every corner of the roof.
Our Solution
Our design team carried out a detailed roof assessment, mapping every angle, pitch and usable section of the property. Using advanced layout tools and a creative engineering approach, we developed a bespoke solar PV system that makes the absolute most of the unconventional roof space.

The Impact
The PV installation is estimated to generate 3,972kWh of energy annually, helping to greatly reduce dependence on grid power.
Financially the system is expected to pay back within 6 years and 10 months with an estimated saving of £44,829 over 25 years.
Environmental Contribution: The system offsets roughly 1 tonne of CO2 emissions annually—equivalent to planting 22 trees each year.
