The Challenge
Having seen the installation and output of a previous job we completed nearby, this customer wanted to join their neighbour in getting complete energy independence by installing a fully integrated solar solution, including solar panels, inverter, battery and EV charger.
For this customer, the challenge was the roof design. The main house featured multiple distinct roof sections with varying pitches and orientations, alongside a separate detached garage roof. So we needed to work smartly to get the most effective and efficient design to achieve their goal.
Our Solution
To achieve the brief, we designed a custom multi-array setup that maximised the solar output across every available square metre of roof space, tied the garage and main house into a unified battery and EV charging system, and kept the final installation visually sleek and uncluttered. We also included Bird Mesh to protect their investment from the outset and maintain peak efficiency for years to come.

The Impact
The PV installation is estimated to generate 9,069kWh of energy annually, helping to greatly reduce dependence on grid power.
Financially, the system is expected to pay back within 6 years and 1 month with an estimated saving of £48,471 over 25 years.
Environmental Contribution: The system offsets roughly 2 tonnes of CO2 emissions annually. Over the lifetime of the system, that's equivalent to planting 441 trees or avoiding 68,650km in car journeys!
